Snapshot from Kolkata with my friend of 25 years, Promita.
I liked this tea (assam masala) so much that I subsequently
went back to have it as many times as possible
during the rest of my stay in India.
That really helped because I was battling a very bad throat
and slight sinus for the most part:((( .

Assam masala....ohhh...I love that tea, and funny, it makes me think only of friendship too. I used to have a dear, dear, dear friend years ago..we would meet on Sundays for a cup of assam masala and to write together in our journals. I miss her. I should send her a surprise tin of assam masala!!!
